Hey, I'm Shelby! From walking down 5th Avenue in NYC on my lunch breaks to writing on the beach in California, my love for creative storytelling is woven through my personal life. Now based in Seattle, I'm operating as a creative director and brand strategist.
If you have a creative idea, I help you get clear on what you're building and how to strategically develop it. Then we use that as the recipe for messaging, visuals, and design that translate it to the real world. Strategy sets the foundation, and visual storytelling is where it comes to life. Creative work isn't rocket science. It's just unfamiliar, and unfamiliar can feel impossible when you're in the trenches.
My job is to make it familiar. I come in as a creative partner and help you cross from idea all the way through execution, translating the jargon along the way. So you don't just walk away with the results you were after; you walk away knowing how to keep building them on your own. I believe creative doesn't have to be complicated, so that's how I operate. Clear steps, plain language, no 50-page decks. And we'll have a good time while we're at it!
I'm a creator myself, so I know what it's like to protect an idea before it's ready to be seen. I also spent years managing Fortune 500 accounts, so I know how to move something from a cluttered Google Doc to a finished product out in the world. I don't just hand you a plan and wish you luck. I'm in it with you, art directing the shoot, shaping the words, making the calls about what stays and what goes. Intersections is the crosswalk between imagination and execution, and honestly, the walk across is my favorite part.
